God has the power to speak to whatever we’re dealing with in our lives, and it will be settled because He has the final say. “God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.” (Psalm 62:11) KJV
Some people we work with will plot and scheme up ways to get us fired, written up or laid off. Nevertheless, we can’t fret about evildoers when they come up against us. We have to wait on the Lord to take care of them. He has the final say. “Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes.” (Psalms 37:7) NLT
When we pray to God concerning an urgent situation, we want Him to answer us right away. However, we can’t hurry God. He has the final say, and He will always move on our behalf right on time. “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1) KJV
If you have a loved one on a ventilator and the doctors have said there is nothing else they can do, keep praying. God has the final say. “And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the LORD will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.” (James 5:15) NIV
Just because some of the things God promised us haven’t happened yet, doesn’t mean He’s not going to do it. He will never break any promises He makes to us, and He has the final say on when they will be fulfilled. “God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through?” (Numbers 23:19) NLT
Sometimes people will wrongly accuse our children for something they didn’t do. In moments such as these we have to look up to Jesus for help; He’s a righteous judge and has the final say. “Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” (Psalm 124:8) KJV
We may have many plans for our lives but nothing will ever work out for us until we put God’s desires in the beginning of our planning. He holds our future in His hands and has the final. “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” (Proverbs 19:21) NIV
So be encouraged today and always remember: God will always have the final say over everyone and everything. “The Lord has established His throne in heaven, and His kingdom rules over all.” (Psalm 103:19) NKJV
