Mississippi State University Extension Service’s Quick Bites programs for March encourage warm thoughts of spring. The free interactive video sessions are available over Zoom video conferencing. Limited space is also available to attend at county Extension offices from noon-1 p.m. on designated Thursdays. Sessions are also offered in Bost Room 409 on the MSU campus. ■ March 4 – In “Any Way the Wind Blows,” presenter Lynette McDougals of MSU Plant & Soil Sciences gets us ready to design as shrubs and yard flowers begin to emerge.

■ March 25 – Holly Campbell, public service assistant with the Daniel B. Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, shares information about an advanced educational program on “FireScaping Your Landscape.” Learn how to design a landscape that is fire safe in this program that serves as an introduction to the topic.
