Pierce Bastien of Starkville has been awarded a Coast Guard Foundation Scholarship.
The Coast Guard Foundation Scholarships benefits the children of enlisted men and women who are serving or have served in the United States Coast Guard, whether active duty, reserve, retired or deceased.
Bastien will attend Mississippi State University.
He is the son of CPO Aaron Bastien.
