The Mississippi State Trial Gardens will present a “Growing Orchids” workshop on Tuesday, June 9 from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Dorman Hall Greenhouse on the campus of Mississippi State University.
Registration is $35 and space is limited to the first 20 people to register. Participants will learn how to grow and care for orchids, from watering and pruning to proper light and fertilizer. Each participant will not only learn how to care for the plants but will also get to take home four orchids of their own.
The trial gardens offer various workshops throughout the year.
