STARKVILLE — The No. 6 Mississippi State women’s basketball team will take on Ole Miss at 7 p.m. Thursday (SEC Network+) in a Southeastern Conference game at The Pavilion at Ole Miss.

MSU defeated Ole Miss 80-49 on Jan. 27 in Starkville. Teaira McCowan scored a season-high 33 points as MSU claimed its 10th consecutive victory in the series. McCowan added 13 rebounds for a double-double. Anriel Howard added 16 points and 11 rebounds.
MSU is coming off a 92-64 win at then-No. 22 Texas A&M. The 28-point margin of victory is MSU’s largest against a ranked opponent. The Bulldogs extended their ranking streak to 90 consecutive weeks in The Associated Press Top 25 this week, including a 54-week run in the top 10.
Ole Miss enters the game with a 9-17 record (3-9 in the SEC).
n Alabama will take on Vanderbilt: At Nashville, Tennessee, the Alabama women’s basketball team will look to get back on track at 7 p.m. Thursday (SEC Network+) when it faces Vanderbilt at Memorial Gymnasium.
Alabama (11-14, 3-9) is on a four-game losing streak, while Vanderbilt (6-19, 1-11) has lost its last six.
