CORINTH — Former Mississippi State track and field standout Tiffany McWilliams Dudley ran a time of 38 minutes, 41 seconds Saturday to win the Corinth Coca Cola 10-Kilometer Classic.
McWilliams Dudley, 27, finished 13th overall in the race that featured more than 800 competitors.
Amory”s Stephen Otey was the next highest finisher among local competitors. He was ninth in the 15- to 19-year-old age division (36th overall) with a time of 43:55.
Other local men”s finishers were: Josh Logan, of Columbus, 661st, 1:38.08; Greg Wod, of Starkville, 158th, 53:05; Kam Otey, of Amory, 55th, 53:05; Walter Cosby, of Columbus, 164th, 53:26; Johnny Peters, of Columbus, 188th, 54:51; Wayne Howell, of Amory, 108th, 50:03; Peter Rabideau, of Starkville, 116th, 50:15; and Larry Marett, of Amory, 231st, 57:15.
Other local female finishers were: Jodi Stone, of Columbus, 171st, 53:52; Jessica Ferguson, of Starkville, 329th, 53:52; Gale Crook, of West Point, 466th, 1:12.53; Marsha Cosby, of Columbus, 163rd, 53:25; Brenda Johnson, of West Point, 332nd, 1:03.20; Betty Gill, of Columbus, 314th, 1:02.16; Bonnie Partridge, of Columbus, 282nd, 1:00; and Judy Shurden, of Starkville, 387th, 1:06.57.
