Columbus” Magnolia Motor Speedway returns to action Saturday with the Eighth Governor”s Cup.
Fresh off a barn-burner last weekend at the Southern All Stars Super Late Models, Magnolia Motor Speedway”s latest event will feature the RockAuto.com Super Late Models in a 50-lap, $5,000-to-win showdown.
PRO Dirt Car Series Super Late Models will sanction the event.
The NeSmith Weekly Racing Series Crate Late Models, Street Stocks, and Mini Stocks also will be in action. NeSmith Late Models will compete for at least $700-to-win, $40-to-start, Street Stocks for at least $400-to-win, $40-to-start, and Mini Stocks for at least $200-to-win, $40-to-start.
There will be an open practice session from 7-10 p.m. Friday. Pit admission is $15. Grandstand admission is free.
On Saturday, the pit gate will open at 3 p.m., with the grandstand gates opening at 5 p.m. The driver”s meeting is slated for 6:30 p.m.., with action at 7 p.m. Grandstand admission is $20, and kids 10 and under are free.
Pit admission is $35 for adults, with children (6-10 years of age) $25, and 5 and under free.
Trackside parking is $10 in any unreserved spot.
