Law enforcement officials have found a man who was being sought earlier this week for several charges, including aggravated domestic assault.
Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Brett Watson confirmed Wednesday night that officers found Sean Michael Sanders, of Starkville, in a hotel in Louisville. OCSO requested public aid in locating Sanders, who’s wanted for aggravated domestic assault and possession of a weapon by a felon.
Before that, Sanders had last been seen at around noon Monday in the area of Wood Street in Starkville.
Watson said an OCSO investigator was following a lead and contacted the Louisville Police Department and Winston County Sheriff’s Office. The departments helped in locating Sanders at the hotel on Wednesday evening.
Sanders has since been booked into the Oktibbeha County Jail. Watson said he’s scheduled to have a court appearance setting bond later today.
