Each December, Paige Lawes hosts “12 Days of Christmas” at Three Generations Tea Room in Starkville. And each December, Lawes designates a charity to benefit from donations made during the annual event featuring special luncheons and seasonal entertainment. This month, that will be Starkville Pregnancy Care Center.
The ministry dedicated to helping women facing unexpected pregnancies offers a range of free services including lab quality pregnancy testing, limited ultrasounds, evidence-based medical education on all pregnancy options, and resources designed to empower women to make an informed decision about their pregnancy.
Some years, 12 days is just not enough time for the celebration, Lawes said, and this year is no exception, so one extra day has been added, making it a baker’s dozen.
Festivities began Saturday and continue every day, except Sundays, through Dec. 16.
Holiday entertainment planned includes:
Events are open to the public and benefit Starkville Pregnancy Care Center. Buffet opens at 11 a.m. Entertainment begins at 12:15 p.m. Cost is $12, plus tax. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Three Generations Tea Room, 662-324-1507.
