The following area students have graduated from the Mississippi School for Mathematics and Science:
Roger Goodloe Chilcutt, of West Point, is the son of Laurie and Jack Chilcutt. Before becoming an MSMS student, Chilcutt was a student at Heritage Academy. In the fall, he plans to attend Louisiana Tech University and major in animal science and dairy science.
Phillip Liu, of West Point, is the son of Angel Wu and Shu Giang Liu. Before becoming an MSMS student, Liu attended Oak Hill Academy. In the fall, he plans to attend Mississippi State University and major in biological engineering.
Dana Olivia Wesley, of West Point, is the daughter of Corliss and Donald Wesley, Sr. Before becoming an MSMS student, Wesley attended West Point High School. In the fall, she plans to attend the University of Mississippi and major in English.
Kennedy Jayne Brown, of Columbus, is the daughter of Kelly and Steve Brown. Before becoming an MSMS student, Brown attended New Hope High School. In the fall, she plans to attend Mississippi State University to major in industrial engineering. Brown is a National Merit Finalist as well as one of Mississippi’s STAR students.
Haley Renee Banks, of Columbus, is the daughter of Sherry and Jeff Banks. Before becoming an MSMS student, Banks attended New Hope High School. In the fall, she plans to attend the University of Louisville and major in engineering.
Nicholas Hayden Brewer, of Columbus, is the son of Kitty and Allan Brewer. Before becoming an MSMS student, Brewer attended Columbus High School. In the fall, he plans to attend Mississippi State University and major in biochemistry.
Jim Waynton Cunningham, of Columbus, is the son of Andrea Cunningham. Before attending MSMS, he attended Tupelo High School. In the fall, he plans to attend Princeton University where he will major in Public Policy. Cunningham was awarded several prestigious scholarships, including the Gates Millennium Scholarship and the Ron Brown Scholarship.
Elizabeth Ann Dobronski, of Caledonia, is the daughter of Ceceilia and Stephen Dobronski. Before becoming an MSMS student, Dobronski attended Caledonia High School. In the fall, she plans to attend the University of Southern Mississippi to major in marine biology.
Marcus Edward Mallory Jr., of Columbus, is the son of Katherine and Marcus Mallory. Before becoming an MSMS student, Mallory was a student at Heritage Academy. In the fall, he plans to attend Mississippi State University and major in chemical engineering.
Zechariah DeVere Sparrow, of Columbus Air Force Base, is the son of Sarah and James Sparrow. Before becoming an MSMS student, Sparrow was a student at Curtis Senior High School. In the fall he plans to attend the United States Air Force Academy to major in military strategic studies.
Mary Blair Ward, of Columbus, is the daughter of Suzanne and Michael Ward. Before becoming an MSMS student, Ward attended Columbus High School. In the fall, she plans to attend the University of Southern Mississippi, where she will major in Nursing.
Alex Brantley Calhoun, of Starkville, is the daughter of Alison and Scott Calhoun. Before becoming an MSMS student, Calhoun attended Starkville Christian School. In the fall, she plans to attend Mississippi State University and major in chemical engineering.
Ashley Nicole Claytor, of Starkville, is the daughter of Cephas and Hattie Ridgel. Before becoming an MSMS student, Claytor attended Starkville High School. In the fall, she plans to attend the University of Mississippi to major in forensic chemistry.
Michael Stephen Klaskala, of Starkville, is the son of Melody and Chuck Klaskala. Before becoming an MSMS student, Klaskala attended Starkville High School. In the fall, he plans to attend Hendrix College.
Wilhelm Eugene Liano, of Starkville, is the son of Julianty and Kartono Liano. Before becoming an MSMS student, Liano attended Starkville High School. In the fall, he plans to attend Johns Hopkins University and major in chemical and bimolecular engineering. Liano is a National Merit Finalist.
Mary Regina Mackin, of Starkville, is the daughter of Simone and Andrew Mackin. Before becoming an MSMS student, Mackin attended Starkville High School. In the fall, she plans to attend Mississippi State University and major in English and communications.
Priyanka Parajuli, of Starkville, is the daughter of Prem and Puspa Parajuli. Before becoming an MSMS student, Parajuli attended Starkville High School. In the fall, she plans to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham to major in biomedical engineering.
Dipa Prakash Patel, of Starkville, is the daughter of Nita & Prakash Patel. Before becoming an MSMS student, Patel attended Starkville High School. In the fall, she plans to attend Mississippi State University and major in biochemistry and pre-med.
Joseph Christopher Payne, of Starkville, is the son of Jackie and Jacob Payne. Before becoming an MSMS student, Payne was a homeschooled student. In the fall, he plans to attend Mississippi State University and major in mechanical engineering.
Huiying Zhang, of Starkville, is the daughter of Jingting Zhuang & Haimeng Zhang. Before becoming an MSMS student, Zhang attended Starkville High School. In the fall she plans to attend Columbia University. Zhang is a National Merit Scholar.
