Agents with the Lowndes County Sheriff's Department Narcotic Division are still looking for seven people after a Wednesday drug round-up that resulted in the arrest of 10 people.
A total of 44 warrants involving 17 suspects were issued in connection with Wednesday's sweep. All but one of the warrants were for felony offenses.
Agents began the raid at 6 a.m. Wednesday and arrested eight people within a few hours, one of whom was Virginia Watt, a Columbus municipal court clerk. Two other suspects were arrested Wednesday afternoon.
Authorities are currently looking for Johnathan Deshae Johnson, Lillian Anjenette Martin, Billy Eugene White, Benji Cornell Vaughn, Samuel Liron Edwards, Taracus Holt and James Moore.
Watt, along with her husband, Roosevelt Davis, are in custody along with Rickey Watson, Jason Douglas Reedy, Rondal Snider, Rebecca Cobb and Tyrone Clay.
Dustin Snider, Addine Cobb and Deangelo Monta Sherrod were already in custody at the time of the round-up. They were also arrested on various drug charges.
