Who’s light idea was this?
I don’t go through this intersection very often but I fail to see the need for the new traffic light at Ridge Road and Highway 12 when there are a couple of other intersections that I do go through often which, in my opinion, have a serious need for a traffic light. The Ridge Road and Highway 12 intersection is simple with a 3 way stop: you stop, you go, you stop, you go. What’s the problem? Now these two other intersections are a noticeable problem: Fifth Street North and Willowbrook (by Chris’s Pharmacy). Certain times of the day you wait and wait. And wait and wait. There are three schools and a hospital nearby, go figure. Next is Bluecutt and Leigh Drive (behind the hospital), which has basically the same problem. A light here would also break up the flow of traffic, making it easier for everyone up and down this road access onto Bluecutt easier. I don’t understand why this is difficult to understand.
