Disgusted by column
Now I know why your paper will not print many submitted comments, letter and opinions in your paper. Freedom of the press only applies to those that agree with the left-leaning liberals ideals in the management, that run your paper.
Mr. Slim was way off the reservation in my opinion (Slimantics: “The dawn of American Facism?” Nov. 9). I was attending a Wednesday night supper at church and was asked, “had I read The Dispatch today”? One person had Slim’s article cut out. Other were discussing the contents. Disgusted and shocked would be an understatement with the content. Some said they have called to canceled their subscription. If you are good with that, keep doing the “same O, same O.” By such vicious and venomous statements you are not doing your paper or the community any favors.
Mr. Trump was elected by those that want America to be better. We that voted for him have been called under-educated, lower-class rednecks.
I worked at the polls and there were some that voted for the first time in eight years. I think Mr. Trump is going to turn the country around. A change in direction is not a bad thing.
What is Slim’s problem? I saw what ” hope and change” did and I didn’t like the direction the country was going. Maybe Mr. Slim should leave with the others that said if Trump wins, they would leave.
I could go on but that’s my opinion.
God Bless America. Love it or leave it.
