In praise of career expo
I had the pleasure of working as a volunteer at the Imagination the Possibilities on Thursday and observed a very professional done event. The opportunity for 7,500 eighth grade students to see what the job possibilities are with visual and hands inspired many of the students based on my discussions with them. After the event closed I talked with many exhibitors and their enthusiasm for the students really showed. The people of Create and the volunteers did a fantastic job scheduling the schools from 17 counties to move safely through the BancorpSouth Arena.
