Supports Allgood
On Nov. 3 there is one clear choice for the District Attorney for the 16th District. That choice is the man who has served the counties of Lowndes, Clay, Oktibbeha and Neshoba counties with integrity since 1989. That man is Forrest Allgood.
Forrest has a strong background in criminal justice having tried thousands of cases. These are cases brought to him by law enforcement and heard by a grand Jury who either indicts, sends to a lower court or issues a no bill which releases the accused.
Forrest does not choose who goes to trial. His job is to bring to trial those indicted. A jury hears the case and issues a verdict and the presiding judge gives the sentence based on the law. Forrest represents the victims and keeps their families informed and aware every step of the process. His voice is a strong one for the victims of crime.
Isn’t that what we want from our district attorney?
The experience, legal knowledge and common sense that Forrest bring to the office of district attorney cannot be over stated. It is not an position of training but of experience.
Forrest has an exceptional relationship with the judges and law enforcement men and women of the district. This good relationship has been earned through his fairness and diligence over his years of working with them.
There has been much made of the few cases reversed over the years with little or no attention to the thousands of cases presented with no errors. Consider all of the criminals removed from the streets of the district. We are all safer because of the work of District Attorney Forrest Allgood.
It also must be said that Forrest Allgood has not had money coming in from the likes of George Soros and other unlikely sources. Who in the State of Mississippi thinks George Soros should have a role in our elections?
The citizens of Clay, Lowndes, Oktibbeha and Neshoba counties have given from their hard earned money to support Forrest.
I have considered it a privilege to be part of the Allgood campaign for reelection.
Please join me in one of the greatest privileges Americans have and cast your vote on Nov. 3 for Forrest Allgood, District Attorney District 16.
