‘Good for you, Charlie’
Good for you Charlie Box (Local Voices: Another view on Initiative 42, Oct. 15) in calling Slim’s hand (Slimantics: Just in time for Halloween: The scary story of the single liberal judge, Oct. 13). I think, he must think the unwashed of the area are complete idiots. Shame on him. I think finally the silent majority are waking up. We have had enough of the elite politician thinking for us. Throw more money at a problem and it will go away.
Speaking of money, what about a local candidate receiving a large amount from George Soros. Does this smell of outside meddling in local politics? That being said the DA race has some negative reporting against the incumbent in the race. What I don’t understand is the DA presents the evidence. It is the jury that brings the verdict.
If I didn’t know better one would think OLE George Soros has his hands in things here, trying to bring the liberal policies here in poor old Mississippi local politics. People better wake up, especially those that care about the moral values this country was founded on. That is “Under God” where the common man has a voice.
We have two weeks to decide, get out and express the only voice you have. That is at the polls. We are headed in the wrong direction, but I think it can be turned around. We have to vote.
See you at the polls. God Bless America because “In God I trust”
