Ancestors who fought for the Southern cause
I had ancestors who fought and died in the Civil War. I am proud of the Confederate blood in my veins. Our flag represents our ancestors who fought and died in freezing weather without shoes on their feet. My great-great-grandmother Logan made my great-great-grandfather’s Confederate uniform when he had to serve. He did not have a choice.
The South was destroyed by the North in the Civil War. They raped, burned, destroyed, killed and stole. The Civil War was not entirely about slavery, but about the power the federal government had over the states. Africa killed thousands of their own people, and sold thousands into slavery to the United States and other countries. We had to fight Great Britain for our freedom. Every person here has ancestors with history. We are all just people.
