Blessing Many Gracefully
With so many negative views of young men in the community, I think this is worthy of mention. A few young men who grew up in the Starkville community, who go by BMG (Blessing Many Gracefully) held their second annual toy giveaway … not drive, giveaway … giving from their very own pockets. At this event, hundreds of toys, clothes and other gifts (in addition to several drawings for larger gifts e.g. scooters, baby bouncers, and baby walkers) were distributed to needy area youth. While at the event, a young child thanked the group for his gift, while informing them he had just recently lost his mother. Afterwards, BMG learned this child had also wished for a scooter … a wish BMG granted Christmas morning. In addition to gifts, BMG also provided lunch during this event as part of their give-back-to-the-community project.
