COLUMBUS — Gussie Hunter Miller, 86, died Feb. 11, 2019, at her residence. Services were at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul M.B. Church with the Rev. Dedrick Anderson officiating. Burial followed at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation was from noon-6 p.m. Friday at Carter’s Funeral Services. Carter’s Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Miller was born Oct. 15, 1932, in Columbus, to the late John Hunter and Louise Hunter-Exum. She was formerly employed with America Bosch, McDonald’s and Hunter Gholson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Miller Sr.; brothers, Edward Wilson and Oliver Joseph; and sisters, Johnny Mae Wilson, Carlotta Hunter and Elizabeth Joyce Wilson. She is survived by her children, Linda Worshaim of Kileen, Texas, Robbie Miller, Kent Miller, Trudie Miller, Tommie Hunter, Bobbie Hunter, Walter Miller Jr., Larry Billups and Billy Hunter, all of Columbus, Betty Hunter, Joseph Miller and Marshall Ellis, all of Chicago, Illinois and Julius Hunter of St. Louis, Missouri; 42 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Brad Worshaim, John Worshaim, Marcus Hunter, Yoqun Harrison, Timmy Hunter, Yotyler Miller, Marquisto Miller and Kentrell Miller.
