MONROE COUNTY — Jimmie Hacker Johnson, 80, died Feb. 18, 2019, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Allen Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at Oddfellows Rest Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the funeral home. Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ms. Johnson was born March 11, 1938, in Monroe County, to the late Ellis Corbin Hacker and Geneva Parish Hacker. She was formerly employed with Kroger in West Point and a member of North Mississippi Worship Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughters, Janice Strickland and Judy Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, June Roebuck of Becker; sons, James Johnson of Prairie and Frank Johnson of Amory; 15 siblings; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
