PHEBA — Norma L. Thompson, 86, died Feb. 17, 2019, at her residence. Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Pheba Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Rhodes and Brad Latham officiating. Burial will follow at Pheba Cemetery. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Calvert Funeral Home and done hour prior to services at the church. Calvert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Thompson was born May 1, 1932, in Archer City, Texas, to the late Leslie Walter and Eunice Darrell Miller Sharp. She was formerly employed as Postmaster Relief with the United States Postal Services and was a member of Pheba Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Edmond “Bub” Thompson; and daughter, Lynn Williams Thompson. She is survived by her daughter, Becky Thompson McNeel and Kay Thompson Davidson, both of Pheba; sister, Frances Snyder of Norfork, Arkansas; half-sister, Glynda Pflug of Dumas, Texas; half-brother, Butch Northcott of Canadian, Texas; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Coby McNeel, Jake Davidson, Ethan Williams, Wyatt Latham, Gary Echols and Raymond Echols. Memorials may be made to Pheba Cemetery Fund, c/o Becky McNeel, P.O.
