WEST POINT — Hilda Elizabeth Langston, 87, died April 12, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point. Services are 10 a.m. Monday at Calvert Funeral Home of West Point chapel with James Towery officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Woodland. Visitation is Monday one hour prior to service at Calvert Funeral Home. Mrs. Hilda was born on July 1, 1930, in Houston to the late Aubrey and Alice Hamby. She was a graduate of Vaughn’s Beauty College in Aberdeen. She owned and operated Hilda’s Beauty Shop in West Point and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in West Point. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, M.O. Nelson and Royce Langston; and son, David Lee Wray. She is survived by her daughters, Dale N. Turner of Trussville, Alabama, and Tammy Graham of Arkansas; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Wes Yeatman, Mark Turner, Charles Cox, Daniel Yeatman, Wesley Yeatman, John Ed Freshour, John Burt Wooten and Rick Schwartz.
