REFORM, Ala. — Fermon Leon Orr, Jr., 79, died Mar. 9, 2018, at Pickens County Medical Center. Services are at 2 p.m. today at Skelton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Latham officiating. Burial will follow in Graham Memorial Cemetery . Visitation will be immediately following services. Skelton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Orr was born Sept. 14, 1938, to the late Fermon L. Orr, Sr. and Hilda Hollingsworth Orr. He was a 1956 graduate of Pickens County High School and was formerly employed with Alabama Power Company. He was also Pastor of Reform First Free Will Baptist Church until retirement in 2017. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Rae Orr; brother, Hoyt Orr; sister, Jo Nell Maroney; and two grandchildren.. He is survived by his sons, Tommy Orr and Michel Orr; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers are Bruce Shaw, Rodney Walters, Eddie Pierce, Buddy Ammons, David Odom and Jay Johnson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Reform First Free Will Baptist Church, P.O. Box 495, Reform, AL 35481.
