DETROIT, Ala. — Willie Mae Collier, 90, died May 22, 2017, at Florence Nursing and Rehab Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church with STeve Baccus officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Otts Funeral Home. Mrs. Collier was born April 20, 1927, to the late Raymond and Bessie Mixon Sizemore in Beaverton, Alabama. She graduated from Sulligent High School and attended Florence Teacher’s College. She was previously employed as a teacher at Lamar County High School. She was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claxton Collier; brother, Joe Sizemore; and sister, Lucille Danner. She is survived by her daughters, Johnnie Lundin of Florence, Alabama, and Fran Nabers of Red Bay, Alabama; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Dennis Collier, Mark Collier, Ricky Sizemore, Steve Sizemore, Steven Nabers and Bryant Nabers.
