DETROIT, Ala. — Odie Mae Randolph, 80, died May 18, 2017, at her residence. Services were at 2 p.m. Monday at Otts Funeral Home Chapel with B.J. Mills officiating. Burial followed in Liberty Cemetery. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Randolph was born Sept. 25, 1936, to the late Pete Hollis and Reeds Hollis. She was previously employed as a seamstress at Detroit Slacks. She was a member of Detroit Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Edward Smith; sisters, Geneva Parker and Lillian Randolph; and two grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Harold Randolph of Detroit; sons, Johnny Harold Randolph and Johnny Allen Smith, both of Detroit, and Terry Randolph of Sulligent, Alabama; daughters, Toleta Randolph of Detroit, Jeana Jernigan of Smithville and Eddie Mae Ray of Vernon, Alabama; sister, Mary Nude Johnson of Sulligent; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
