MACON — Curtis Pippin died April 17, 2017, at Noxubee General Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Jack Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 1-6 p.m. today at Lee-Sykes Funeral Chapel and one hour prior to services. Mr. Pippin was born Nov. 4, 1958, to Henreen Landrum Pippin and the late Floyd Pippin. He was employed as a factory worker. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mary Slaughter of Macon; sons, LeKarios Lovelace of Macon and Robert Davis of Starkville; daughters, Tiffany, Adrianna and Sterraca Slaughter, all of Macon; brothers, Edward Pippin, Little F. Pippin of Macon, Eddie Pippin of Louisville and Melvin Pippin of New York; sisters, Maggie Pippin, Lois Pippin, Juanita Glenn and Barbara Pippin, all of Macon; and two children. Pallbearers will be Tavoris Slaughter, Eddrick McCloud, Jerry Slaughter, Jermaine McCloud, James McCloud and Earnest Shamily.
