MACON ó Bobbie Ruth Aycock Senter, 92, died Mar. 16, 2017, at Elderly Care Center of Macon. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Macon with Dr. Bill Duncan and Steve Galloway officiating. Interment will follow in Oddfellows Cemetery in Macon. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Cockrell Funeral Home of Macon is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Senter was born July 28, 1924, to the late Dr. W.J. and Marion Denley Aycock. She was a graduate of Calhoun City High School and Mississippi State College for Women (now MUW). She was formerly employed with the Macon Hospital and assisted family with operation of Senterís Hardware Company. She was a member of First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, E.B. Senter and two sisters, Josephine Anderson and Nancy Caldwell. She is survived by her sons, Ed Senter of Birmingham, Alabama and Alan Senter of Columbus; sister, Billie Liddell of Arlington, Texas; and one grandchild.
