Noxubee County Sheriff Albert Walker is retiring.
Walker is finishing his sixth term and will not seek re-election. He turns 65 next month.
“It”s a good time to retire. I”m retiring age, that”s the only reason,” said Walker.
He is throwing his support behind his chief deputy Terry Grassaree to succeed him.
