Pam Abrams, Director of Education for the Palmer Home for Children, was awarded the Charles Guest Service Award. The Charles Guest Service Award recognizes a staff member for his or her contributions to Palmer Home for Children, mirroring the pursuit of excellence demonstrated by Palmer Home Board member Charles Guest.
Charles Guest has been a Board member for over 25 years and served as interim President prior to Drake Bassett. This award encourages our staff to exemplify and to recognize in others qualities such as character, friendliness, leadership and humility. Abrams met every criterion for the award and more. Abrams has been with Palmer Home since 2014.
Palmer Home opened Palmer School in 2014. Abrams has been at Palmer Home since the first year of the school opening. She first served as Educational Coordinator, lending her 30 years of teaching experience.
