Starkville police are searching for a suspect in a Monday morning armed robbery at a Sprint Mart in south Starkville.
SPD Public Information Officer Brandon Lovelady confirmed that police responded to a reported robbery at the Sprint Mart at the intersection of Louisville Street and Academy Road at about 1 a.m. Monday.
Lovelady said no injuries were reported in the incident.
SPD had not released what weapon the suspect used as of press time Tuesday.
Investigators released a still from the store’s video surveillance after press time Tuesday, showing a suspect in black clothing with a mask covering his face. Anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to contact SPD at 662-323-4131 or Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7151.
