A Starkville woman was arrested late last week for assaulting a coworker at a Family Dollar.
According to a Starkville Police Department press release, 46-year-old Brenda Poe was arrested Friday for aggravated assault after allegedly attacking a victim with what police described as a “sharp cutting instrument.”
Both parties were employed at the Family Dollar at 213 N. Jackson St., according to the release.
The victim has not suffered serious injury.
Poe was booked into Oktibbeha County Jail and later released on $5,000 bond. Her municipal court appearance is set for Dec. 11.
