Three teenagers, two of them juveniles, have been arrested for allegedly breaking into a home in south Columbus and stealing a gaming system.
Officers with the Columbus Police Department arrested 18-year-old Lamarcus Tucker, of 606 Ave. B, Sunday after he and two juveniles allegedly forced their way into a home in the 900 block of Eighth Street South, according to a press release from CPD. Tucker and the other suspects, a 17-year-old and 13-year-old, stole a Playstation 4 from the residence.
The resident was home at the time of the burglary, the press release said.
Tucker has been charged with one count of burglary of an occupied dwelling. He is in custody at the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center on $50,000.
The Lowndes County Youth Court will handle the cases of the two juveniles.
