A Macon man over the weekend allegedly rammed his vehicle into a romantic partner’s vehicle while she was inside.
Deputies with the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office arrested Roy C. Hopkins, 28, of 435 Cheatham Road, for domestic violence-aggravated assault. Late Saturday night or early Sunday morning, Hopkins visited the victim near her home off Mike Perry Road, said LCSO Capt. Ryan Rickert. The two got into an argument before the vehicle collision.
The victim had non life-threatening injuries, Rickert said.
Hopkins’ bond has not been set. He is still in custody at Lowndes County Adult Detention Center.
