A man is at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle with a gunshot wound following a shooting on Military Road Wednesday.
Columbus Police Department identified the victim only as a 21-year-old with a gunshot wound through the shoulder, according to City Public Information Officer Joe Dillon.
The victim’s injuries are non life-threatening, Dillon said.
CPD is investigating the shooting, which occurred late Wednesday afternoon on the 900 block of Military Road. The shooter is described as being dressed in black and wearing a ski mask, Police Chief Oscar Lewis said. The suspect is not in custody, Lewis said.
Police do not currently know the motive for the shooting, Lewis said.
