Columbus police are searching for a suspect in a fraud investigation.
The police department released a video Wednesday showing a suspect believed to have committed fraud at a bank in Columbus. The suspect in the video is a black male wearing a baseball cap, glasses and a T-shirt.
Capt. Brent Swan said the suspect allegedly cashed fraudulent checks on Oct. 19 and attempted to do so again at the same location on Oct. 21. Swan did not identify which bank.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the CPD at 244-3500 or the Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 1-800-530-7131.
