Columbus police have arrested a man for allegedly stealing items from a home after the resident passed out from a seizure.
Isham Conner Jr., 28, of 95 Lakewood Road, was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling. Conner was a guest at the victim’s home on Mill Street when the victim reportedly suffered a diabetic seizure and passed out, city Public Information Officer Joe Dillon said. When she woke up, Conner was gone and several items had been taken from her home. The victim contacted CPD, and officers arrested Conner on Main Street later that morning.
Dillon did not know what items had been taken.
Conner’s bond was set at $20,000. He is being held in the Lowndes County Adult Detention Facility.
