Starkville police are searching for two suspects involved in an armed robbery of a North Jackson Street gas station Sunday.
Surveillance footage the department released shows a light-skinned individual, dressed in a black mask, hoodie and pants, enter the former B-Quick store, located at 1109 North Jackson St., about 9 p.m. with a backpack or satchel and take an undetermined amount of money.
It appeared the robber held a gun in his hand as he reached over the counter and grabbed cash out of the register.
At least one employee was present during the robbery, the footage shows, while another male sat near the register.
Another suspect waited outside the store as the incident took place, according to police.
Police described the suspect who entered the gas station as standing approximately 5-feet-7-inches tall, but SPD released no further information about the other suspect or the incident.
Anyone with information about this incident or others is asked to call SPD at 662-323-4131 or the Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 800-530-7151.
Crime Stoppers may offer a cash reward for information leading to an arrest of the suspects.
