The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office is searching for suspects following an armed robbery today at Stateline Fuel Center.
At 1 a.m. today, two men entered the Lee Stokes Road business, which sits near the Alabama border, and pointed guns at two clerks, according to LCSO Capt. Ryan Rickert.
The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money and left in a vehicle heading north. The clerks were unharmed.
The only description given for the suspects so far is that they were men wearing masks, according to Rickert.
Authorities in Alabama have been notified.
The case remains under investigation.
