The Columbus Police Department has arrested a man in connection with a burglary last month at Industrial Fire Protection Inc.
Officers arrested Judon Phillips, 22, of Columbus, on Wednesday for suspicion of burglary of a commercial building. The alleged crime took place on March 24.
Industrial Fire Protection is on Gardner Boulevard. CPD posted security feed video from the burglary on its Twitter account on March 24. The department also posted a release asking for public assistance in locating the suspect. According to that release, Phillips entered the building by breaking in through a window.
Three shotguns were reported stolen following the burglary, according to CPD Capt. Brent Swan. The firearms have not been located.
Phillips was booked into the Lowndes County Adult Detention Center on Wednesday.
He was released after posting $10,000 bail on Thursday.
