Starkville Police Department arrested a Long Beach man involved in Second Baptist Church’s sanctuary expansion on a felony false pretense warrant Thursday.
Authorities say Donald Andrew Crowther, 69, turned himself in after he previously admitted in court his company, TCM Companies LLC, falsified copies of checks that were paid to contractors and later erroneously reported to the church.
Crowther was processed and transported to the Oktibbeha County Jail. His bond was set at $100,000.
Anyone with information about this case or others is asked to contact SPD at 662-323-4131 or the Golden Triangle Crime Stoppers at 800-530-7151.
