Columbus resident Jeremy Shanklin, 24, of 504 Avenue B, has been arrested and charged with robbery.
Columbus Police Department officers and U.S. Marshals found Shanklin at a residence in the 1200 block of Fifth Street South around 2 p.m. Wednesday, according to Fred Shelton, interim CPD chief.
Shanklin has been charged with armed robbery for his alleged involvement in a robbery on Pandora Drive on Jan. 26 when two men robbed a victim at a home. One of the suspects sprayed the victim with pepper spray, authorities say.
Shelton said police have another suspect in the case who has not yet been taken into custody.
Shanklin’s arraignment is scheduled for 1:15 p.m. today.
