An Oktibbeha County man is facing up to a decade behind bars after authorities say he had sex with a horse.
Deputies with the Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department arrested Larry Mobley, 25, of Skinner Road, on Monday in a wooded area in outlying Oktibbeha County. He has been charged with unnatural intercourse and trespassing.
OCSD Lt. Brett Watson said deputies were dispatched to the Skinner Road area after receiving a complaint from a witness who allegedly observed the act taking place. Once deputies were on scene, Mobley was apprehended while attempting to hide from deputies, according to law enforcement.
Watson said unnatural intercourse, a felony, carries a $10,000-maximum fine and up to 10 years in jail.
Mobley was still in OCSD custody Tuesday before his initial appearance in Justice Court.
