Tellōs Creative, of Starkville, won a Telly award for one of their projects produced in 2014, bringing the staff’s international production awards total to 19. The short film “Green Brings Green,” created for the Mississippi Forestry Commission, won a bronze Telly in the “Online Video – Education” category of the 36th annual awards.
“We are thrilled to receive this award,” said Robbie Coblentz, managing partner at Tellōs Creative. “It’s great that Mississippi stories receive national recognition.” Russell Bozeman, director, Forest Protection and Information for the Mississippi Forestry Commission, said the agency is proud of the partnership with Tellōs.
Coblentz was also nominated in the PSA/Intro Editing category at the recent Southeast Regional Emmy Awards for the introduction to the TV show “The Honey Brake Experience.” It was the second year in a row that he garnered an Emmy nod. Founded in 1979, the Telly Award is the premier award honoring outstanding local, regional and cable TV commercials and programs; film and video productions; and web commercials, videos and films. Winners represent the best work of advertising agencies, production companies, television stations, cable operators and corporate video departments around the world.
