Oktibbeha County law enforcement agents are searching for 21-year-old Aashil Randive, who was last seen at his residence almost a week ago.
Deputies issued a missing person alert Thursday since few clues have emerged.
Investigators have not found any indication of foul play at this point, said Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Brett Watson.
“We’ve run down the list of all the normal things we look into, but he’s just disappeared completely on us,” he said. “He has just dropped off the face of the earth, it seems.”
Randive may be driving a red 2009 Mitsubishi Galant with Mississippi tag No. STARK04.
Watson said Randive is a recent Mississippi State University graduate. A call to MSU Chief Communications Officer Sid Salter to confirm Randive’s status with the school went unreturned Thursday.
Randive has black hair and a dark complexion. It is unknown what he was wearing at the time he was last seen.
If anyone has seen or had any contact with Randive, they are asked to call OCSD at 662-323-2421 or its investigations unit at 662-323-8484.
