A Starkville juvenile faces auto burglary charges after he was apprehended by the Columbus Police Department.
The Starkville Police Department received a call from a Lindberg Boulevard residence in regard to a stolen vehicle Monday. After the incident was broadcast to other law enforcement agencies, CPD located the missing vehicle and apprehended the driver.
Officers transported the suspect back to Starkville, where he was formally charged, processed and released to relatives.
The case will be turned over to Oktibbeha County Youth Court.
In most cases, The Dispatch does not print the names of juveniles facing charges.
