A Louisville woman was charged with cocaine possession and Mathiston man was detained for an arrest warrant out of Ackerman after a Friday traffic stop on Industrial Park Boulevard.
Starkville police officers stopped a car driven by Thomas D. Green, 32, of Mathiston, Friday as part of an investigation of a suspicious vehicle at the Salvation Army, a Starkville Police Department release states.
His passenger, 42-year-old Rebecca Ann Goodin of Louisville, was charged with providing false information to officers, and Green was detained for the Ackerman Police Department after it was discovered an arrest warrant was issued for him.
Authorities say multiple narcotics were found in Goodin’s purse, and she was also charged with felony possession of a controlled schedule one or two narcotic, two counts of misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance three, four or five and possession of marijuana less than 30 grams.
Her bond was set at $5,000.
