The civil rights movement program scheduled for tonight at the R.E. Hunt Museum and Cultural Center in Columbus has been canceled due to weather-related travel concerns for the speaker, Flonzie Brown-Wright.
“The Mississippi Civil Rights Movement in Contemporary Times,” a talk presented by the Columbus-Lowndes Public Library, was set to begin at 5:30 p.m.
A reschedule date has not yet been determined, according to Mona Vance-Ali of the Columbus library.
