Starkville police are seeking a suspect in a reported armed robbery early this morning where a store clerk was wounded.
Officers responded at about 12:20 a.m. to the B-Quik/Chevron Station located at 1130 Louisvile St. Upon arriving, they found the clerk had been shot. The clerk was taken to the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson and is being treated for his injuries. Police did not know his condition at press time.
A Starkville Police Department press release describes the suspect as a black male, about 5 foot, 9 inches with a medium build. At the time of the alleged robbery, he was wearing a red hoodie and black shoes. He is considered armed and dangerous.
