A man was found dead in a Columbus motel Tuesday.
Timothy Lloyd Bridges, 27, of Tuscaloosa, was found in Traveler’s Deluxe Motel, located at 1001 Island Road, according to Lowndes County Coroner Greg Merchant. Bridges’ body was discovered by officers with the Columbus Police Department at 12:01 p.m., according to a press release issued by the department. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Merchant said.
Merchant and CPD Investigations Commander Brent Swan declined to release a cause of death, citing an ongoing investigation.
Bridges was in Columbus working for Burford Electric, according to Merchant.
