Palmer Home for Children is pleased to introduce Paul Hogg as the new Executive Director of Jonah’s Journey. Palmer Home partnered with Jonah’s Journey in March 2014. Both organizations provide care to children in need of a safe and stable family environment. Jonah’s Journey specifically caters to the children of incarcerated women.
“We are thrilled Paul has decided to join Palmer Home and Jonah’s Journey,” says President and CEO Drake Bassett. “He brings a great combination of leadership experience and passion that will benefit our overall mission.” Paul Hogg and his wife have served as caregivers for Jonah’s Journey since May of 2014. “Our experiences as caregivers have been life-altering,” says Paul. “The love we have for the little girl in our care, and her mother, is off the charts. They are part of our family. It’s a blessing to love and serve them both.”
Prior to his role as Executive Director, Paul owned and successfully operated his own business. He managed a team of 25 employees and feels blessed to have been given opportunities to lead numerous teams over the course of his professional career. His aptitude for leadership and team development, coupled with his personal experience as a caregiver with Jonah’s Journey, will offer valuable insight as the ministry continues to grow and expand.
Paul’s responsibilities in the position of Executive Director will include overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, developing a sustainable caregiver network, and increasing awareness through relationship development within the community, churches, prisons, and various agencies.
